When you think of going on a family adventure vacation, a guest ranch might not be the first place you think of. However, after one visit to our ranch, it’ll be the first place you want to go whenever you begin planning another vacation. Colorado Trails Guest Ranch sits 12 miles northeast of the legendary town of Durango. The San Juan National Forest adjoins our ranch, giving us beautiful scenery and an ample amount of space for ranch activities.
Our guest ranch includes many facilities, such as a place for the kids to hang out and play, a fly fishing center, and an ice cream shop. We also offer many activities for the entire family to enjoy. This includes horseback riding, fishing, camping, power tubing, and rifle shooting. You will be overwhelmed at the amount of things that you can get into during the day.
However, after a long day enjoying your family adventure vacation, it’s time to enjoy the nightlife here at Colorado Trails and what better way to do that than to have a campfire cookout? Our guests look forward to these because it gives them a time to reconnect with family if they’ve been participating in separate activities throughout the day. They can enjoy a delicious meal, meet new people, and relax under the Colorado stars.
The scenery surrounding our dude ranch is breathtaking at night. The weather is always nice, making any night an excellent time for a campfire cookout. We love to build a stronger relationship with our guests, and these cookouts give us the perfect opportunity to get to know you and your family better.
With all the activities going on throughout the day, it’s relaxing to be able to sit under the stars, eat good food, and engage in conversation. It’s the perfect activity to wind down after a long day. You will return to your cabin in a great mood, ready to get some sleep for another exciting day. People who visit our Colorado guest ranch tell us how much they love our cookouts, and attend each one that they can.
A guest ranch is the perfect place for all inclusive family vacations. There’s something for every member of the family to do. Throughout the day, the family may be engaging in different activities. The younger ones may like to spend a lot of time in the Ruckus Room meeting other children, while the teens enjoy power tubing and the adults go riding on horseback. This is why we always have opportunities where the family can rejoin and spend time with each other. Campfire cookouts are a tradition at our guest ranch, and we want to make it a tradition for you too.
